WOMEN IN LANDSCAPE DEMONSTRATE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES
IN ESTIMATING AND GIS SOFTWARE FOR THE GREEN INDUSTRY IN A
WEBINAR SERIES CREATED BY THE NAPWL

Los Angeles, California, (Wobwire.com) -- August 22, 2011 – Los Angeles-
based NAPWL (National Association of Professional Women in Landscape),

www.NAPWL.com), announced today the second webinar, in a four-part
business series, taught by women leaders and subject matter experts in the
Green industry. The NAPWL is an association comprised of a diversified
group of women specializing in a broad spectrum of disciplines in the
landscaping and green industries including, landscape architecture and
management, engineering, design, construction, irrigation, horticulture and
nursery and environmental sciences. The mission of the NAPWL is to assist
in the professional development and promotion of women through education,
networking, environmental stewardship and community philanthropy. During
the current economic downturn, the NAPWL is providing free educational
outreach to its membership community through a four part business webinar
series which will cover marketing, technology, supply chain management and
customer service topics.

The second webinar begins on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 and will address
the role of technology in streamlining business systems while creating a
sustainable competitive advantage for business owners. Software
advancements in estimating and GIS will be demonstrated by subject matter
experts, Laura Weatherbee and Alle Rorie of GIS Dynamics. “Landscape
contractors are always searching for ways to become more efficient.
Leveraging technology can streamline the estimating process, reduce labor
costs and significantly increase the bottom line for business owners," stated
Weatherbee. The webinar will also include an interactive question and
answer session.
